I shopped at a small local video game store chain. And one big box store to get another few pieces for my light display. Beats the mall. Had plans to go camping, but my son caught so nasty stomach bug and is in no shape to be away from a fully plumbed bathroom.

I work at a pizza place, so I’m expecting one of two scenarios tonight, either we will be so busy that there will be a massive wait list (we make good pizza, and that’s how it was last Friday, no empty tables in the whole restaurant and it was like that from like 6 to 8:30) and the night will fly by, or there will be no customers at all and I will be miserable (standing around doing nothing for 5 hours straight is pretty boring). Should be fun.

This trail was extremely muddy. Last time I was here it wasn’t this muddy, but it is in a rainforest, and just west of us is the second wettest spot on earth. I’ve grown up in the desert and have lived in a drought for over half my life, so I love it.

Do you sharpen the skates before or after drinking?

I didn’t go shopping or work, but stayed inside with family and played games and looked at old pictures and ate good food. Then we drove an hour and ate good food and played games with other family. A quality day, I must say.

We did do some outsiding on Thursday (football), Saturday (helping my brother-in-law work on and clean up his shop-in-progress), and Sunday (gave my kids their first lesson on the trackhoe).
